Chino, CA (4/19/2010) - Yoshimura
saw two riders take to the podium this weekend
at the Ballance MotoX Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky,
for the AMA ATV MX series. New team rider Josh
Creamer took first place, while his teammate and
defending ATV MX Champion Dustin Wimmer took second.
Creamer finished with a 2-1 finish in both
motos, good enough for the top spot on the podium.
Wimmer finished the day with 6-3 motos, and
found himself on the second step of the podium
Sunday afternoon.
"It feels great to get my first overall
win for Rockstar Makita Suzuki today" Creamer
said. "My Suzuki QuadRacer R450 was flawless
as usual, the team worked hard, and I brought
it home. It feels good!" Josh scored
the holeshot in his second moto, and never looked
back. Creamer has been a force in the AMA ATV
MX series, but now with his Yoshimura-prepped
QuadRacer R450 he's going to be even tougher
on his competitors. "These Yoshimura motors
are so fast they really have no weaknesses,"
Creamer said. "With the fuel injection
management, they run crisp from top to bottom."

Dustin Wimmer rode smooth all day and managed
to hold onto his first place overall status,
leading the series with 88 points. Creamer sits
with 84, making it a close race heading into
round three of the 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Championship
in Danville, Virginia, on May 2.
"I don't know what it is about this track,"
the 2008 and 2009 champion Wimmer said after
the race. "I always seem to struggle here,
although today I rode pretty well. With all
things considered, I came out with pretty good
results. I focused on points and I had fun today."
New to Yoshimura support, Thomas Brown had
a strong day and finishing fifth. He battled
in both motos and proved he will be finding
his way to the top of the podium soon. With
his hard-charging style and strong stats, Brown
kept moving forward all day.

Another Yoshimura rider, Pat Brown suffered
some mechanical issues but he still had two
strong motos, placing him 12th overall. Although
it may not be how he wanted to finish, he's
expected to bounce back with some strong finishes
throughout the season.
Also under the Yoshimura banner, Cody Grant
managed to survive his first big pro race after
being involved in a pile-up on one of the starts,
while Harold Goodman fought hard for 13th. Both
are expected to move up the ranks through the
season.
