Frankfurt, KY (10/10/2012) - National Guard / Coastal / Bowers Motorcycle Supplies / Yokley Racing Team rider Jarrod McClure finished 4th Overall and 4th in the XC1 Pro Class. There were 156 total entries including 14 XC1 Pro racers.
After a long hot summer, the racers looked forward to some nice cool autumn conditions. The track at Powerline Park features a lot of elevation changes, technical trails, open field sections and a big mudhole. The Racer Production folks put a jump leading into the mudhole so the pros could jump over most of it, but it was still a fan-favorite viewing area!
National Guard Coastal Bowers M/C Supply’s Jarrod McClure got a mid-pack start and had to wait awhile as the racers settled into the pace on the first lap. Jarrod and eventual winner Adam McGill hooked up and started working their way to the front. Jarrod worked his way up to 6th heading into lap 2. The leaders were able to get away while he worked his way up. He battled with Wolf and Kiser, eventually finishing in 4th place.
Jarrod will participate in a local race this weekend and the get ready for the Ironman in Crawfordsville Indiana on October 20. See you there!
