National Guard Polaris' Yokley Racing Team at Thunder Over Louisville

Frankfurt, KY (4/20/2010) - The National Guard Polaris Yokley Racing Team was featured in the National Guard display on April 17 in Louisville KY at the Thunder over Louisville event. This one day event held in the downtown Louisville riverfront is the kickoff for KY Derby Festival activities leading up to the KY Derby on May 1.

Yokley Racing was the featured race team in the National Guard display area, right next to an Apache and Blackhawk helicopter. Included in the display were a race prepared Polaris Outlaw 450 ATV and RZR UTV, as well as a military version provided by Polaris Defense, the RZR-SW, used by the Special Forces.

Thunder over Louisville is the largest annual fireworks show in the United States, with more than 50,000 shells exploded in the 30 minute fireworks display. The attendance was estimated at more than 700,000. There was also an air show over the Ohio river featuring 90 military and specialty aircraft. All branches of the military had displays as well as 130 vendors.
