Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A. Hires New ATV/SxS PR Manager

Cypress, CA (10/1/2007) - Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. today announced the hiring of Van Holmes as public relations manager for the company’s ATV/Side-by-Side (SxS) Department. Among his responsibilities, Holmes will serve as the department’s new primary media contact.

“Yamaha is the leader in the ATV and SxS industry with a great brand, a stellar reputation and the toughest, most capable vehicles,” Holmes said. “This is an exciting time to work at Yamaha as the company continues to roll out innovative new vehicles while promoting safe, responsible riding and sustainable riding areas.”

“We’re excited to have Van come on board as the new Yamaha ATV/SxS Public Relations manager,” said Yamaha ATV/SxS Marketing Manager Steve Nessl. “Van’s PR experience combined with his enthusiasm for Yamaha’s brand and product makes him a perfect fit in his new role.”

Holmes joined Yamaha’s Motorsports division this September bringing with him more than seven years of corporate communications and public relations experience. He had been consulting with Yamaha’s ATV/SxS department since March of 2006. He will work out of Yamaha’s Cypress, California.
