Yamaha's
Thomas Brown took yet another podium finish
at Sunday Creek finishing third overall
aboard his Yamaha YFZ450R ATV |
Cypress, CA (7/5/2011) - In AMA
Pro ATV, Brown’s season has netted three
top-five overall finishes and one overall podium
so far. Round eight at Sunday Creek Raceway in
Ohio added one more podium. Rainfall that started
just before the first of two motos challenged
the entire field with muddy roost, especially
those toward the back of the pack.
Brown and his YFZ450R fought through the conditions
brilliantly for a third-place finish behind
Chase Snapp and Josh Upperman. Conditions improved
for moto two, and Brown was all over the back
of Upperman until a loss of visibility dropped
him downfield. But he recovered late in the
moto to surge back into third, ensuring his
second overall podium for the season.
