White Bear Lake, MN (6/1/2006)
- The WPSA PowerSports ATV Championship Tour
has added two new classes for 125cc Youth riders.
Class 13: 90-125cc 4 stroke Sr. 12-15 (production)
and Class 14: 90-125cc 4 stroke Jr. 8-11 (production)
will be added, effective at this weekend's PowerSports
Peach State ATV Championships at Echeconnee Off Road
Park.
The two new classes bring the total number in Tour
competition to 23.
"We received an overwhelming amount of feedback
from our Youth riders to create these new classes,"
said ATV Tour Director Tes Sewell. "We think
this will only add to the show, and is a good move
for many reasons."
The PowerSports Peach State ATV Championship kicks
off this weekend, June 3-4 in Macon, Ga. Finals are
scheduled for both days in the Pro classes, and a
full slate of ATV racing will be held throughout the
weekend. The events will be telecast on ESPN2.
