White Bear Lake, MN (7/10/2006) - Due to a thumb injury suffered in competition last weekend, WPSA PowerSports ATV Championship Tour SuperQuad Pro 450 points leader John Natalie, Jr. (No. 13 Elka, HMF, Swift/Honda) will miss this weekend's Jack Link's Feed Your Wild Side ATV Championship at South Fork Dirt Riders.

The Houtzdale, Pa. resident suffered a broken left thumb, requiring surgeons to install three pins. Natalie, who has two wins and two additional podiums this season, said he hopes to return to WPSA competition at the season finale, scheduled for Aug. 19-20 at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

"I'm hurting pretty bad right now," said Natalie. "I thought the season was going great for us. The Tour did a great job this season, and we're looking forward to 2007."

The Jack Link's Feed Your Wild Side ATV Championship kicked off today with open practice. Racing gets underway tomorrow, with a full card of qualifying and finals for the Pro classes, as well as Amateur, Pro-Am and Youth class qualifying. Sunday's events will also feature a full show for the Pros, with finals scheduled for the remaining classes. Tickets will be available at the gate.

Saturday's events will be telecast on ESPN2 on Saturday, July 15 at noon EDT, while Sunday's race will air Saturday, July 22, also at noon.
