Polaris / Eichner Racing's Doug Eichner: WORCS Pro ATV Racer Bio

Polaris Outlaw 450 MXR Doug Eichner
Doug Eichner kicked off the season with a win in the Pro Production Class on the Polaris Outlaw 450MXR because he won't be racing the Outlaw 525 IRS this season because of the new Pro 450cc rule
Washington, UT (4/6/2008) - I was looking through my WORCS papers from Lake Havasu and came across this awesome bio that Joan Eichner brought up to me right before the Pro race on Sunday. After settling down from Havasu and looking through this I decided to do a write up and what a great champion we have racing are series. Besides the fact that he is one of the nicest guys in the pits, and the fact that my wife Mindy was able to pick up one of the coolest Christmas presents I have ever received (a full framed autographed Doug Eichner jersey w/ a signed photo of him and I at last years banquet), I had to throw this up. Doug Eichner has more Championships than years I have been alive. He has the dedication, talent and sheer drive to do what many of us would have gave up a long time ago. Here are some recent announcements followed by stats of Doug’s career.

I was able to take 5 minutes out of my day to check in with the 5x WORCS National Champion.

Jason: Doug, What’s up busy man?

Doug: WOW- Good to hear from you, uh actually welding away and getting ready to head out to Stateline, gonna try my hand at the ATV Supermoto Challenge there holding at Buffalo Bills this weekend.

Jason: Sweet, What do you think?

Doug: Hopefully I‘ll do well. I tend to attack all race disciplines, so I think I’ve got a pretty good shot.

Jason: Congratulations on the Havasu win. Got to be stoked about that and also looking forward to heading home to Washington in two weeks.

Doug: Thanks a lot. Yes- that was a good win to get in front of the Polaris folks, I love the trees, but not the rain up north, but we’ll see.

Jason: Well I’ll let you get back to work and good luck this weekend.

Doug: Thanks Jason, I‘ll see you in two weeks in Seattle.

Doug Eichner recently won the 2-hr Saboda Grand Prix on the Polaris Outlaw 525S with a holeshot start and 30 pros on the line.

He is fresh off the Open Pro win at the ITP Quadcross Round #1 of the opener where he holeshoted and won Heat 1 & 2 out of a field of 21 Pros aboard his Polaris Outlaw 525S.

Eichner & Polaris recently announced a continued relationship through 2009 where Eichner will continue to serve as the #1 Racer for the Polaris Industries, Inc.

Eichner also signed on with Traxx Remote Control Truck/Car and will debut those at the Polaris/Eichner Racing pits next round. Be sure to stop by and take a peek and even maybe a spin with one of the 45 mph toys.

Doug Eichner will be working to launch the 2009 Polaris products to the press. Eichner says, “Polaris has come awesome machines to present this June and I can’t wait to rip on them all.”
