Galena, IL (7/29/2013) - Chad Wienen secured his second consecutive ATV Motocross Championship this past weekend at Round 9 of the 2013 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA after Wienen swept the field with a 1-1 finish on the day at legendary RedBud MX. The Wienen Motorsports duo took first and second on the podium for the first time of the 2013 season when Brown finished 2-2 for the day.

Wienen grabbed the moto 1 holeshot and was able to secure the lead until he took the first checkers of the day. Brown got off to a top ten start and had to work his way through the field to find the front of the pack. Brown proved to be a force to be reckoned with as he made his way up to second by the end of the moto.
As the gate dropped for moto 2 both Wienen Motorsports riders came out of the first turn in the top three. Wienen took over the first place position within a few turns and went on to take his first 1-1 sweep of the 2013 season and secure the 2013 National Championship. Before halfway through the moto, Brown was able to move up into second and take his first second place overall finish of the season. Brown continues to sit in second place overall in the championship points chase and increased his lead on the third place rider to twenty-two points.
The 2013 season will conclude at Loretta Lynn's in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. on August 10 for Round 10.
