Galena, IL (11/1/2012) - Chad Wienen claimed another championship title this year when he clinched the 2012 New Zealand National Championship. In a one-weekend format, Wienen was able to clinch the championship after winning six out of the seven motos.

Wienen Motorsports / SSi Decals / Walsh Race Craft / Yamaha's Chad Wienen won 6 out of 7 motos in New Zealand to win the Championship aboard his Yamaha YFZ450R ATV

"It was an honor to be asked to come over to race their series. We had a great time on and off the track. The facility was really nice and was a lot of fun. Similar to tracks we have here in the States we were able to put on a good show for the New Zealand crowd." Said Wienen. "It's always great getting to know fans overseas and having the opportunity to go racing out of the country."

Wienen is now focusing setting up the Wienen Motorsports program for 2013 and is getting anxious for the upcoming season.
