Galena, IL (10/3/2012) - Chad Wienen clinched another title this past weekend at the Montreal Supercross. Wienen took the finale holeshot and the win in order to grab the 2012 Monster Energy Montreal Supercross Championship.

Wienen Motorsports / Yamaha's Chad Wienen celebrated his first Montreal Supermotocross Win infront of more than 40,000 fans in Canada

"It means a lot to be able to come out here in front of 40,000 plus fans and put on a great performance. There was a lot of hard competition that came up to this event and I am very happy to be able to pull off a win!" said Wienen.

Wienen was the second fastest qualifier behind fellow Yamaha rider Thomas Brown for the evening. But when the gates dropped for both the heat and finale race, Wienen never looked back. He grabbed both holeshots and was able to ride two smooth races in order to claim the 2012 Montreal Supercross Championship.

"I had a great time at this event. The stadium is always full of excited and enthusiastic fans. It makes my job in putting on a great race so easy."
