Galena, IL (8/14/2012) - Chad
Wienen has clinched his first-ever AMA ATV
Pro National Championship at the last round
this past weekend at Loretta Lynn's MX. Chad
Wienen went 3-4 this weekend for a 3rd overall
finish. Wienen aboard his Wienen Motorsports
SSi Walsh Yamaha built his championship season
on six overall wins, two second place and
one third place finish this season.
Chad Wienen celebrated his first AMA
ATV MX Pro Championship with his family
& friends at Loretta Lynn's
Moto 1 Wienen came out of the holeshot in
third and rode a comfortable pace throughout
the entire moto and ran third to the finish
line to secure the 2012 Championship. "I
knew I had to ride a safe race in order to
secure the championship in the first moto
so I set a pace where I knew I could ride
comfortably and mistake free. " said
Chad Wienen came out of moto 2 gate drop in
the top 5 and after several intense battles
found himself in fourth when the checkers
flew. " I was able to find my lines after
I cleared some aggressive riding and was able
to start working my way toward the checkers.
I really wanted to find the front of the pack
but ran out of time."
"I am beyond words happy about finally
securing my first championship. We have worked
so hard to rebuild after my injury last year.
I have dreamed about accomplishing this dream
for so long it still seems surreal. I cannot
begin to thank everyone who has stood behind
me and for all of the support I have received.
Without the help of all of my sponsors I never
would be where I am today...your 2012 AMA
ATV National Champion!"
