Wienen took the overall win at Unadilla

Galena, IL (7/16/2012) - Chad
Wienen took the overall win this past weekend
at Unadilla Raceway aboard his Wienen Motorsports
SSi Walsh Yamaha and extended his series points
lead to 29 points.
Chad Wienen took the fastest qualifier award
of the weekend and in Moto 1 Wienen found
himself in second place out of the first turn
behind former champion Josh Creamer. Wienen
tried to contend Creamer for the first place
position but Wienen decided to ride smart
and settle for the second place finish in
Moto 1.
Moto 2 Wienen nabbed the SSi Decals holeshot
award for the third time this season and was
able to pull a comfortable lead on the rest
of the field quickly and rode a smooth race
to the checkers.
"I knew that the starts were going to
be critical this weekend and I was determined
to come out of that first turn in front. After
grabbing the holeshot second moto I was able
to ride my own race with a clear track ahead
of me. I am very happy to take the overall
this weekend and extend my points lead, with
two races left I am excited to be heading
to my favorite track, Red Bud in two weeks.
