Race Craft's Chad Wienen went 2-1 at
Sunday Creek MX for the Overall win |
As the first gate drop Wienen found himself
at the front of the field coming out with
the holeshot for the first time of the season.
Wienen was able to stay in the lead for a
few laps then fell into second place and remained
there for the remainder of moto 1.
"We launched out of the start and took
the lead from the get go. The setup on our
machine was off a bit the first moto and took
2nd. " said Wienen.
In moto 2 Chad Wienen once again grabbed the
SSi Decals holeshot award. Wienen had pressure
from the rest of the top six racers early
on in the race but was able to pull a comfortable
lead on the rest of the field and took the
moto 2 win.
"Moto 2 we made some adjustments to our
Yamaha, gated 1st out of the Holeshot and
was able to ride my own race and gain time
on the rest of the field and the overall for
the weekend. I'm pumped to be back on the
top of the box and able to gain points in
the Championship. Thanks to all of my sponsors
for your support and backing"
