Wienen found himself back at the top of the
podium with his Wienen Motorsports SSi Walsh
Yamaha machine after another 1-1 sweep in
front of his home state crowd at Sunset Ridge
MX in Walnut, Il this past weekend.

both Pro moto wins to grab the overall
at AMA ATV MX Round 4 Sunset Ridge |
As the weekend's first gate dropped Wienen came
out of the first turn in second place. Following
behind Nick DeNoble Wienen was able to quickly
take over the lead by the end of the first lap.
Wienen continued to ride comfortably until he
took the checkers and moto 1 win.
Moto 2 Wienen came out of the first turn in
fourth place and passed for the third place
position by the end of the first lap. By the
halfway point Wienen was able to set Natalie
up for a pass in the whoop section and made
a clean pass for the second place position.
Wienen then set his sights on fellow Yamaha
rider Thomas Brown who was leading the field.
By lap eight Wienen was able to tighten up the
distance between the two and was able to secure
the lead and another moto win.
"What a Big Win this is for us in front
of the hometown crowd! My Wienen Motorsports,
SSI, Walsh, Yamaha was flying out there this
weekend. One of the roughest tracks we have
raced on this year. Ready for the next round
under the lights!" said Chad.
Spectators lined the track and surrounded the
podium as Chad Wienen secured the overall win
and extended the series points lead to 23. The
next round will be at Balance MX in Oakland,
KY where the Pro Racing will take place under
the lights for the first time.
