                                      | Wienen
Motorsports / Yamaha's Chad Wienen won
both motos at Muddy Creek to win the
overall on his Yamaha YFZ450R ATV |

                                  Galena, IL (4/24/2012) - Chad
Wienen makes a spot for the Wienen Motorsports
SSi Walsh Yamaha team at the top of the box
for the second round of the AMA ATV Pro National
circuit this past weekend at Muddy Creek MX.

Wienen was the second fastest qualifier of
the morning following close behind leader
Joel Hetrick by less than half a second. When
moto 1 gate dropped Wienen come out of the
first turn mid-pack and before the end of
the first lap was in third following behind
leader Josh Upperman and John Natalie. By
the third lap, Wienen and Natalie had both
passed by Upperman and Wienen was pressuring
Natalie for the lead. With three laps to go
the rain came in and down poured on the remainder
of the moto but Wienen was not going to let
that hold him back he stalked Natalie and
after the white flag came out Wienen passed
Natalie for the lead and was the first to
                                    take the checkers.
When the pros took the gate for moto 2 they
found the skies had cleared and the track
was dry. When the gate dropped it looked as
if Wienen would come out mid-pack again off
the gate but his Cox Performance engine pulled
him to the front of the pack and Wienen was
right behind holeshot winner Josh Upperman.
Wienen quickly found he was leading the race
and would stay here until the race was concluded.

“My Yamaha YFZ450R ran great all weekend
long rain or shine. My Maxxis tires were hooking
up in all conditions we had to deal with this
weekend. The track got slick and the Fox Shox
picked up all the small bumps out there while
Ryan Cox has put in the time to make this
Yamaha a winning machine. FMF Exhaust has
provided us with the optimal performance and
while having as low as 92db’s in sound.
                                    Thanks to the Wienen Motorsports/SSI/Walsh
Race Craft/Yamaha Team we are continuing into
round 3 with the points lead and red backgrounds.”
