- WAQuadMX.com is proud to announce all 4 of its
Western Australian riders podium at the recent
Western Australian State Championships in Busselton
Western Australia.
Competing in the Pro Open class Luke Gaisford
on the RPS, Moto-Xperts, Lonestar Honda TRX 450ER,
at 18 years of age finished 2nd for the day and
holds 2nd place outright for the 6 round championship
series. Gaisford raced two fifteen minute moto’s
coming 4th and 2nd, and in the 6 lap sprint took
3rd place.
In the 35+ Veterans class competing in 3 x 4
lap moto’s was 46 year old Grant Gaisford,on
board the RPS Honda 450ER, putting in 3 competitive
races taking the win in all, to take out the State
Championship and stand atop the podium claiming
back to back veterans titles.
Womens Open class Simone Gaisford at 17 years
old is Aus #4 also competing on RPS Honda 450ER.
Stiff competition from nationally seeded riders
saw brilliant racing in the women’s class
all day. Second in race 1 and 3rd in race 2&3
for an overall 3rd place.
The Junior 90cc-110cc class saw Chris Bosnakis
on board the Cobra ECX 70cc, extend his lead amongst
the youngsters after two of the four rounds of
the Junior Championship, Chris sits 40 points
in the lead. Bosnakis will travel to the US in
August to compete in some of the US National Series,
before returning to Australia to defend his Australian
titles in October.
WAQuadMX International News- Chris Brenton from
Western Australia currently residing in the US
and competing in the AMA ATV National series in
Pro-Am Class. Chris has achieved mixed results
and heads to Sunset Ridge for round 4 of the championship
this weekend.
