Warnert Racing Can-Am Team
Dominates the Big Buck GNCC with Three Wins

Union, SC (4/26//2007) - Riders of the Warnert Racing team have been setting the pace at each round of the GNCC series aboard their Warnert Racing prepped CanAm's. The team headed to Union, South Carolina for round four of the GNCC Series, and they were greeted to yet another challenging course through the Carolina countryside. A huge factor at this weekend’s event was the dust, which limited visibility to near zero at times during the race.

Scott Kilby
In the premier 4x4 Open class, Warnert Racing’s Scott Kilby and Richard Cecco jumped out to the early lead at the start, with Cecco having to shut his machine down early in the race with a stuck throttle. After returning to the pits for mechanical assistance, the Outlander was repaired and Cecco raced through the pack to garner an impressive 4th place finish! Kilby meanwhile charged ahead and never looked back taking his third straight class win and currently sits on top of the points.

Micheal Swift continues his complete domination of the 4x4 Limited Class, taking home his fourth victory in as many races. Swift maintains an 11 point lead over CanAm’s multi-time champion Mike Penland and looks to pull away as the season continues to tracks that will find the Warnert Racing Team proving again and again they have what it takes to put their CanAm’s out front.

Michael Swift
In the 4x4 Lite's class, Cliffton Beasley powered his Outlander 500 around the competition securing yet another class win. This marks the third win for Beasley this season, but due to a sixth place finish at Steele Creek, Beasley currently resides in 2nd place in points behind CanAm mounted racer, Jerime Dudding, with only one point separating the pair.

In the U2 class, Brock Parker grabbed the Holeshot on the Warnet Racing CanAm Renegade, but a few miles into the race, he crashed and bruised a few ribs and injured his shoulder, which will have him sidelined for the next round at Loretta’s.

With four races into the GNCC season completed, Warnert Racing’s Team leads the points in all three utility classes with a combined 10 wins in 12 races, which is an impressive start to the 2007 racing season.

Round 5 of the GNCC series heads west to the hills of Tennessee for the Loretta Lynn’s GNCC in Hurricane Hills, TN on April 28th.
