St. Cloud, MN (10/1/2010) –
Warnert Racing’s Chris Bithell made another
trip to the podium in the Pro class at round eleven
of the 2010 GNCC series and Lexie Coulter made her
second consecutive appearance on the podium in the
morning classes, while the morning Utility classes
were dominated by the Warnert team.
Chris Bithell got off to a strong start as he
was in the top five off the line and quickly moved
into the number three spot. Bithell was gaining
ground on second place, but was unable to close
the gap enough to make a move. Bithell would finish
in a solid third place with a time of 01:59:20,
only 15 second off the lead.
Adam McGill mounted an incredible charge, coming
from the back of the pack to take a top five finish.
McGill’s consistency this season has him
sitting comfortably in third in series points.
Lexie Coulter was on a mission in the morning
Women’s class. Coulter came off the line
in fourth and worked into the number one spot
by lap two. Coulter led for two laps before settling
in to second place. Coulter’s impressive
showing gave her the number two spot on the morning
podium.
Bryan Buckhannon, who wrapped up the 4x4 Open
championship at Snowshoe, again put on a strong
showing, taking the 4x4 Open win. “I had
a bit of a battle going in the first lap, but
then I just kind of checked out,” said Buckhannon.
Cliff Beasley continued his winning streak in
the U2 class as he grabbed the holeshot and never
looked back. “My strategy has been to get
out front early and just go; and it seems to be
working good so far,” said Beasley, whose
solid performance allowed him his class win and
to finish in fourth overall.

Racing's Michael Swift |
Michael Swift also took another win in the 4x4
Limited class, bringing his total victories to
eight for the season. The 4x4 Limited class was
first off the start this round with Swift grabbing
the holeshot and pulling away. Swift ran strong
and rode his own race, which gave him another
class win. “I want to end the season strong
and it looks like I am headed in that direction,”
said Swift.
Round twelve of the 2010 GNCC series will be
on October 9th at Power Line Park in St. Clairsville,
OH and with only two rounds left in the season,
the pressure will be on as Adam McGill and Chris
Bithell give it their all as they battle for the
podium.
