Racing's Lexie Coulter Takes 2nd Place Overall
in the Morning Class

St. Cloud, MN (09/14/2010) –
Warnert
Racing’s Michael Swift wrapped up the 4x4
Limited championship round ten of the 2010 GNCC
series, while Cliff Beasley continued his winning
streak and Adam McGill and Lexie Coulter would take
podium finishes in the morning and afternoon classes.
The morning classes
started off with good track conditions at Unadilla,
the hosting facility for round ten, but the track
became quite choppy over the course of the race,
however that didn’t stop Lexie Coulter from
taking a solid second place overall. Coulter worked
her way up from a mid-pack start and by lap four
of the six lap race; she had charged her way into
the number three position. Coulter kept the hammer
down and charged into second place in lap five.
Coulter held off the competition for two laps
to take second in her class and second on the
morning podium. “It felt really good to
come back from the break and get on the podium.
I’m hoping to do it again in Tennessee,”
stated Coulter.
Michael Swift, who has been the dominating force
in the 4x4 Limited class for several years, wrapped
up another championship this weekend with a solid
win. Swift grabbed the holeshot and checked out
on the rest of his class. Swift led from start
to finish, taking an easy win and was the only
utility quad to finish in the top ten overall
for the morning classes. “It feels really
good to bring home another championship for Warnert
and Can-Am. I have to thank the entire Warnert
crew and especially my mechanics, Nathan Macho
and Kyle Witte. They have done a great job and
I couldn’t have done it without all of their
hard work and support,” stated Swift.

picked up right where he left off going into the
summer break, taking his tenth straight win of
the season. Beasley led his race from beginning
to end and finished over three minutes faster
than anyone in his class.

Racing's Adam McGill Claims his 7th Podium
fnish of the year on the DS450 at Unadilla |
In the afternoon’s XC1 Pro class, Adam
McGill charged hard off after a mid-pack start.
McGill went from eight place to the lead by the
end of the second lap and held his lead for two
laps before getting stuck behind lap traffic,
putting him back to fourth place. McGill charged
hard and made his way back up to a solid third
place finish before reaching the checkered flag.
“It was really choppy out there and there
was a lot of lap traffic, but I am happy to finish
on the podium,” said McGill.
Chris Bithell also came on strong at round ten
as he came from behind and worked his way into
the number three spot. Bithell held down his position
for several laps, but a crash in the final lap
would put him in fourth right behind McGill. “I
crashed trying to get around a lapper on the last
lap, but I came back from it and plan on being
on the podium at Tennessee,” Bithell stated.
In the College A class, Jamie Bithell came on
strong to take a solid second in his class. Bithell
worked up from seventh place to take the lead
in lap five, but he also would get caught in lap
traffic and finish in a respectable second. Bithell’s
solid performance all season has him in a close
second in points and if all goes well, he could
take over the points lead before the end of the
season.
The next round of the 2010 GNCC series will travel
to Lafayette, TN. for the Titan round on September
25th, where the Warnert team will be racing for
the podium once again.
