Walsh Race Craft's Nick DeNoble 6th at AMA ATV MX Opener
Mtn. Dew ATV MX - Round 1 - Aonia Pass - Washington, GA - March 23, 2013

#123 Nick DeNoble making his way around the muddy track at Aonia Pass MX in Washington, GA |
Live Oak, FL (3/29/2013) - Saturday morning in Washington, GA saw heavy rain and after a few hours the pits and track were a complete mess, we had to qualify in the rain, however Nick DeNoble does not back down easily. DeNoble put in some solid
qualifying laps and ended up with 6th gate pick.
Moto 1 - The rain stopped falling shortly before the 1st moto, so even
though it was a mess there was hope that the second moto would be better
and hey, at least we didn't have to ride in the rain. As the gate dropped
the riders slide and bogged through the mud to the first turn, DeNoble got
caught behind someone who spun out in the first corner and stalled the
quad, but he got it started and took off with Josh Creamer shortly behind
him.
A couple laps into the moto DeNoble had moved forward in leaps and bounds
and was already inside the top 10, as he put his head down and continued to
put in solid laps he found himself closing in on the bumper of Jeffrey
Rastrelli with an opportunity to take 5th before the end of the moto. DeNoble
tried to make the pass on Rastrelli on the right hand corner before a
step-up double before the whoop-section, but DeNoble spun out and lost one
position to Josh Creamer in the effort and ended the moto in 7th.

In Moto 2 FOX Athlete Nick DeNoble placed fifth giving him a score card of 7-5 giving him 6th overall aboard his Walsh Race Craft Suzuki LTR450 ATV |
Moto 2 - We found a decent track after a few more motos had gone by with no
more rain, it was not ideal but definitely a lot nicer. As the gate dropped
on moto 2 DeNoble caught a clever gap on the inside of the first corner and
came out of the holeshot in about 7th place and quickly made it up to 5th
place.
There was not much excitement in the sense of passing and so on, but
DeNoble rode a solid moto and finished 5th in moto 2.
Nick DeNoble's 7-5 gave us 6th overall.
Very special thanks to our sponsors and we look forward to another exciting
round of racing at Muddy Creek in Tennessee on April 13th
