28 points from third place |
Live Oak, FL (7/6/2011) - Saturday
morning got off to a less than ideal start for
us, the rain rolled in and set the stages for
a muddy first moto. Jeremy got out to a descent
start and stayed strong the entire moto but was
only able to work his way up to 5th.
By 4:00pm the track had dried out and now we
were looking at the setting for a fast paced exciting
motocross race. As the gate dropped Jeremy had
a good reaction and came around the first corner
in fourth. As the laps went by Jeremy was feeling
in his groove as he set the fastest lap times
and moved forward, making the passes on Thomas
Brown and Chase Snapp and setting his sights on
Josh Upperman, he closed the gap on Upperman but
was not able to pass him, finishing 2nd.
A 5-2 finish for the day gave us 4th overall.
As the season starts to wind down, we are seeing
an opportunity at a better finish then we had
been anticipating, we are still in 4th overall
but only 28 points out of the lead and with three
rounds to go, it is still anybody’s championship
to be had.
