Live Oak, FL (7/12/2010) - When Im not racing on the weekend
im either training or working on the farm.
I started ATV motocross in 2006 when the LTR came
out. My plans for this
season are to hopefully reach my goal of a top 5
in unlimited and a top 10
in production. Next season I hope to secure a championship
in the Pro Am
production class and hopefully the Pro Am unlimited
class also.
Hopefully I find some more speed and move into the
Pro Class in the next
couple of years and see how things go from there.
As the 2010 race season progresses, so does Ronnie
Higgerson. He has been
one of the fastest Pro-Am racers out on the track
all season, but bad starts
and being a Pro-Am rookie have hindered his finishes.

However lately Ronnie has started to break out
of the shell, the round 8 weekend went much better
as Ronnie secured his first podium finish with
a win in Saturdays Pro-Am Unlimited Class. With
a top 5 start in the first moto qualifier he worked
his way up to finish 3rd in that moto. Then with
a good gate pick for the main and a great reaction
off the gate, Ronnie came out in second place,
just barley getting edged out by Joel Hetrick
in the holeshot and rode a strong moto to finish
second and claim the overall win.
Although Ronnie did not win a moto he showed
how consistency and good starts
can claim victories in a 2 moto system.
