Triumph Motorsports Stadium Quad Race Report
Milestone Ranch MX Park - February 20-21st, 2010

Corona, CA (2/25/2010) - This past weekend was the Triumph Motorsports Stadium Quad Race. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day. The clouds seemed to disperse and the sun was shining all day. The night prior was riddled with rain and heavy winds, but that just seemed to make the track better for Saturday. The dirt seemed to be flawless.

The Stadium style racing was designed to keep the speed fast and the jumps low to the ground. With turns in some places reaching 50ft wide you can insure good racing. Tight turns towards the center of the track made it fun to come diving in on other racers for a fast pass. Milestone MX ranch was the perfect venue for the event.

Their dirt complemented this style of racing. The corners were easy to rail with the lofty dirt. The quads were combined with Trophy Karts, and it seemed they both pushed the track to the limit. It was the first of it’s kind in the area in a very long time. From start to finish it was a great event.

Talking with Ken Johnson the promoter later that day he had this to say:
“The event went well. Despite the rain we had a great turn out and the track conditions were epic. I was worried that the track was too short but after the qualifiers the racers seem pleased. It was a fun safe track .

Because of the track layout the Quad races were exciting. From the response of the racers I feel we did a good job. We will always try and make the event better. Hopefully we will see more quad racers next time. The Mix between stadium karts and quads was great they took the same lines. We had an awesome mix of people From Celebrity stadium kart racers to amateur quad racers to R1 powered Side by Sides. I feel we had something for almost anyone to enjoy.

We are in the works of planning a 4 round series. It's still on the drawing board. If there is anyone interested in supporting the quad races please contact me. I am hoping to increase the vendor row, add a couple more quad classes and have some top quad guys come out.

I would like to say the Stadium Kart World Championships would not be possible without the strong alliance of event sponsors Trophy Kart, Lucas Oil, Team Associated, Simpson Race Products, and King Race Shocks. Special thanks goes out to everyone for the assistance, especially Grawbowski Racing CMI, CFD, BME, Triumph Motorsports, DH Graphics, Pole Position Raceway, Synergy Electric, A.M. Ortega, Osbourn racing, Full Tilt Trophy Karts, Weller Racing, Rv discount Center, Milestone Ranch, and media coverage by Race-Dezert.com, Totally Off Road Radio and UTVunderground.”
