TPR's Project
Yamaha YFZ450R ATV Sneak Peak
(8/3/2009) - The next custom quad
build from Tarantula Performance Racing is in the
works and will be released later this summer, but
ATV enthusiasts can get a sneak peak at the build
in progress right now.
Yamaha’s new motocross-specific sport quad,
the YFZ450R, is the base for TPR’s next project
quad. TPR is working furiously with its team of
sponsors to roll out the quad this summer, and you
can watch the project come together online at TPR’s
Web log, Tarantula Performance Racing Quad Promotions.
The blog is being hosted on the site BlogSpot.com
and can be viewed here:tpr-atvs.blogspot.com
TPR is famous for the Spyder Quad, a Suzuki
LTR450 built with Quinn Michael of Outta Control
Racing Ministries for the 2008 Indy Dealer Expo.
The Spyder Quad was built under wraps, but the
TPR project YFZ450R is more of an open secret.
The blog focuses on the TPR project YFZ450R,
which will debut the Tarantula Performance ‘Race
Safe’ nerf bars and front bumper for adult-sized
sport quads this summer. A full ride review from
the perspective of a pro-am national rider will
wrap up the project YFZ450R build at the Uhrichsville,
Ohio based Crow Canyon Ride Park.

About Tarantula Performance
Products:
The engineers, welders and technicians
at Tarantula Performance Racing have more than 100 years
combined experience in metal prototyping. Our employees
have been dedicated to engineering, fabricating and
CNC milling metal prototypes for branches of the U.S.
Military Service, the Aerospace Industry, custom manufacturers
and motorcycle shops over the past 30 years. TPR uses
fourteen CNC mills and lathes, two lasers, five hydraulic
presses, four welders and mandrel-tube benders. TPR
has more equipment and capabilities for manufacturing
ATV performance parts and customized accessories than
most other ATV aftermarket companies. Our employees
work together designing and engineering your custom
parts. Nearly every employee at TPR rides an ATV. The
laser operator, welding foreman, shop manager and chief
design engineer race locally in the CRA and AMA District
12 motocross and hare-scramble circuits. The equipment
and experience at TPR allows for the custom possibilities
of each part to be virtually limitless (laser shown

Northeast Ohio area are encouraged to stop in and talk
with the engineers and riders at TPR. We can help you
give your quad a totally unique, one-of-a-kind custom
look.
