Fortworth, TX (10/4/2010)-Beautiful mountains, clear crisp blue skies, white fluffy clouds, endless humidity and scorching temperatures what better way to end the TQRA quad racing series!

Track owner, Chris Garvinand his family are supporters of Quad Racers, TQRA makes two trips into the mountains of South Eastern Oklahoma during the series. ValleyMoto has limited hook ups, concession stand, restrooms in addition to the porta potties and SHOWERS!!! YES, YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!! There is no track on the circuit with cleaner restrooms, PA system heard throughout the track, fantastic dirt, friendlier staff personnel and eagerness to provide the best riding conditions for the BEST QUAD RACERS IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL US. TQRA is always very excited to partner with Chris Garvin and Valley Moto MX.

Cory Gonzalez took third place in the 90 modified class.

It is not uncommon to hear a spectator, rider, or parent say the TQRA Mini Riders of today are Pros of tomorrow . . . . .this could not have been more true watching the Big Rigs of Thomas Brown and Chase Snapp roll into the Pits. The Mini Riders were scampering all over trying to get to their friends, parents, race officials or ANYONE ELSE who would listen . . . . .THERE ARE PROS HERE!! Did you see who pulled in???? What they didn't see was Cody Miller sneaking in, discreetly, in a Pick Up truck!!! So in addition to our Pros Hunter Miller and Johnny Hale, who have been riding the series . . . . the stakes just got a little bigger with the arriva lof Thomas Brown, Chase Snapp and Cody Miller. This was EXCITING; these riders grew up in TQRA riding against each other!! HunterMiller,Johnny Hale and Cody Miller are all reigning TQRA Expert Champions. These boys were coming home to their racing roots and supporting TQRA, the organization which gave them a place to ride before Nationals!!

Saturday practice was hot; however, there were over 75 riders braving theheat to hammer down some laps on fluffy dirt, rounded berms, and perfectly faced jumps! Practice concluded at 3 pm to givetrack personnel enough time before dark to re-prep the track for Race Day!!!

TQRA concluded their 2010Summer Series this weekend (9/18 & 9/19) at Valley Moto MX in Tuskahoma,Oklahoma. Several off the classes overall standingswere on the line and racing was intense in the Over 30 A,Open B1, and Open Quad. While 1st may have been secure in some of the classes, there were still a several racers battling for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th spots!!!

Open Quad brought in riders from various classes. Austen Dinger took the overall showing he meant business after taking both holeshots. Colton Cluck took a moto 1 second place finish, his personal best. Quad new comer, Cole Supernaw made his transition from a 2 wheel bike to a 4 wheel race machine, nicely walking away with a 9th and 4th giving him a 6th overall. One is to wonder if he'll be back forthe TQRA 2011 Summer Series.

Burnt up clutches and hurt riders took a toll on the Mini Mod class. With only 1 90 Mod in the line up, classes were combined. Ashleigh Offutt took the overall win inthe Co-Ed Youth class riding her 300 ex. Shawn Michael Rodges took 2nd on his 300 ex and Cory Gonzalez showed how to ride the 90 Modified and took the final podium spot with a 3rd. Straight aways were won by the 300s but precise turning and jumping enabled that 90 Mod to make up ground.

Cody and Bryce Ford, the younger version of the Miller Brothers have their classes wrapped up for the series. However, this didn't stop them from going out of the gates hard and racing with all they had. Cody Ford experienced a nasty get off prior to the finish line jump during lap one in the Sr. Mini second moto. Moto 2 win and overall went to #23 JoeGossett. With only 1 race between the Mini Sr. and Supermini Cody caught his breath and jumped on his Superminibike. Alex Pafford took theHoleshot in the Supermini Class however Cody Ford walked away with theoverall win. Younger brotherBryce took the overall in Pee Wee Sr., Mini Stock, and Mini Jr. Sean Michael Carter earned bragging rights to his first ever TQRA holeshot in the Pee Wee Sr. class. It is NOT all fun and games in those Mini and Pee Wee classes, they mean business!

The highpoint of the day was definitely the Pro Am and Expert Classes. To sweeten' the pot-a-bit, TQRA sponsors increased the Pro Am and Expert purses by $150 each. Expert second moto Holeshot Winner was going towalk away with an additional $100. Hunter Miller was the points leader in both classes. There was going to be some jockeying for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place overall for the TQRA 2010 Series.

A blue Yamaha with the number 84 on it won all 4 holeshots. One of those holeshots went to Thomas Brown . . . . . . . . . . the other 3 went to . . . . . . . . Chase Snapp!!!! Yes, Thomas helped a buddy out and let Chase ride one of hisYamahas!!!! Apparently the Yamaha blue and Chase got along just fine!!!

Moto 1 of the Pro Am class started with Thomas Brown taking the holeshot and leading all 8 laps. There wasn't a leader change in thismoto and lap after lap the riders held their position. Chase Snapp was in hot pursuit of Thomas, however could not make the pass. Cody Miller got an extra leg work out after he lost his seat in the 3rd lap . . . riding smart and staying focused the seatless Miller finished 3rd with older brother Hunter taking the 4th spot. The up and coming Rosin Shinn rounded out the top five. This is exactly how the overall panned out . . .with one MAJOR difference . . . . Chase Snapp took the holeshot in Moto 2 and held on for the Moto 2 AND Overall Win! Congratulations to the Top 5 . . . Chase Snapp, Thomas Brown, Cody Miller,Hunter Miller and Rosin Shinn. Hunter Miller secured the 2010 TQRAPro-AM Title.

With the sun beating down, there was no need for the Expert Class to have a hot lap!! Chase Snapp hammered down and pushed the Yamaha out in front for the Moto 1 and Moto 2 Holeshots . . . . he walked away from Moto 2 $100 richer! Brown made a move on Snapp during the first lap and rode into the lead. Brown didn't look back. During lap 4 Snapp endured some mechanical problems which ended Moto 2 with a DNF. Rosin Shinn stayed persistent and rode a clean moto to finish with a 3rd giving him a 2nd overall. Hunter Miller just needed to finish to secure the 2010 TQRA Expert Series Title but he finished moto 2 making a statement with a 2nd. Congratulations to our Thomas Brown for his Overall win, Rosin Shinn for his 2nd, Cody Miller 3rd, Hunter Miller 4th and William Lawson Jr taking the 5th overall.
