Fortworth, TX (7/12/2010)
- Hunter Miller continues to dominate on his factory
backed Can-AM DS450 in the Texas based TQRA motocross
and TORN cross country ATV racing series. The past
three weekends have been very action packed for
Miller with many intense battles resulting in a
few podiums for the Can-AM team.
Round 3 of the 2010 TORN series was hosted at
the Miller family's property in Cash, TX. "I
have been riding here my whole life, the course
set up by the TORN series was very technical and
really suited my riding style. My Goldspeed tires
worked perfectly in these dry slick conditions
and really gave me an advantage over the rest
of the field," Said Miller. At the start
of the race the temperature where above the 100
degree mark and would challenge the racers and
their machines.

Miller started the race in 5th place and quickly
to 2nd place in the first woods section. He then
set his sights on the leader and began to challenge
for the lead. Mid-way through the first lap Miller
was able to take over the number one position.
He began to pull away from the rest of the field
and finished the race with an impressive 5 minute
and 44 second lead.
The following weekend was round 7 of the TQRA
ATV motocross racing series
at Village Creek MX in Ft. Worth, Tx. Temperatures
were soaring once again
as the expert class lined up at the gate. Miller
had a bad start and
rounded the corner in 8th place. He began charging
to the front make his
way to 5th by the third lap on a very one lined
track. Fellow Can-AM riders
Cody Miller and Cameron Reimer also joined in
for the charge to the front.
Brother Cody Miller would collide with Johnny
Hale challenging for the lead
late in the race resulting in a very bad crash
for Cody. Fortunately Cody
walked away from the crash uninjured. Hunter Miller
finished the moto in
4th and Cameron Reimer in 2nd. Expert moto 2 began
with Miller starting in
4th place and by the end of the first lap he had
moved into 2nd place.
Miller kept up his charge for the entire race
but he would fall short of
the first place spot by the end of the race.
In the first Pro-am moto Miller would start mid
pack but quickly move into
the 3rd position and set his sights on second
place rider Johnny Hale. Hale
and Miller would battle for two laps before Miller
would overtake hale on
the inside of a corner. Miller finished second
in the first Pro-am moto.
The second Pro-am moto was one of the last races
of the day. The track was
very rough and hard packed. "These are the
conditions that I love and my
Can-am DS450 really excels on this type of track,"
said Miller. Miller
started the race in 2nd place and would pass for
the first place position
and pull a comfortable lead on the rest of the
pack all the way to the
checkered flag claiming 1st overall for the weekend.

Round 8 of the TQRA series was the following
weekend at North 40 Cycle Park in Sherman, TX.
The first moto of the day was the Pro-am moto.
The track was very muddy from watering the track
the night before. Miller started out the race
in 4th place picking his way through riders and
the muddy conditions. A three rider crash over
a 90ft table top would bring out the red flag
to restart the race. Miller once again started
off in 4th place and was putting pressure on fellow
Can-am rider Cameron Reimer. Trying for an aggressive
pass in a corner left miller balancing his machine
onto of a hay bale on the side of the track.
After wrestling the quad free Miller remounted
his DS450 and charged to catch the pack. He ended
up finishing 4th place in moto one. Pro-am moto
2 track conditions where much better for the racers.
Miller started the race in the third position.
He made a pass for 2nd place when the leader rolled
a large double on the track and a few corners
later Miller began to pressure for the lead. After
mixing it up for a few corners Miller made the
pass stick and began to pull away from the rest
of the field finishing in first for the second
moto.

For the first Expert moto Miller started in second
place behind Cameron Reimer on his Can-AM DS450.
Miller began applying pressure waiting for the
opportunity to pass. When Cameron pushed wide
on a corner Miller dove to the inside and passed
his Can-AM teammate. Miller then charged hard
all the way to the finish of the moto claiming
first place at the end of the race. At the start
of moto two three Can-AM DS450 riders round the
first corner in the top positions with Miller
claiming the holeshot. Miller would pull away
from the pack claiming the overall win. The podium
was swept by Can-AM DS450 riders in the Expert
class for the weekend.
