Fortworth, TX (6/11/2010)
- Factory Can-Am Sponsored rider Hunter Miller made
the trip to El Reno, Ok for Round 6 of the TQRA
ATV Racing Championship Series. This was the first
time the TQRA has hosted a race at this venue. The
track is very fast and became very rough and dry-slick
which made for some great racing action. Dusty rough
conditions and the temperature reaching over 100
degrees separated the riders who have been training
hard from those who have not.
Hunter started off the weekend strong taking
an early lead in the first expert moto and after
charging hard for the first half of the race set
his Can-AM DS450 on cruise control to the finish
line. "I rounded the first corner in second
place behind Johnny Hale. In the second corner
I made an aggressive pass on the inside effectively
taking over the lead. From there I began to pull
a comfortable lead where I remained the rest of
the moto," said Miller.

In the second Expert moto Miller came out 2nd
in the start and began to put the pressure on
Hale right away as he did in moto one. The two
fought hard as they banged bars in almost every
corner for the next 2 laps. Miller persistence
eventually paid off as Hale pushed wide in a corner
opening the door for Miller to stick his DS 450
on the inside of Hale forcing his way into the
lead. Miller quickly began to pull away from Hale
and the rest of the pack and taking the overall
win for the Expert class.
The Pro Am class moto also went well for Miller.
Taking an early lead in moto one Miller sprinted
to the finish line with a very comfortable lead.
In moto two Miller put his DS 450 to the front
right away with a great holeshot. Johnny Hale
would put some intense pressure on Miller for
the first 3 laps but Miller held is ground and
once again pulled away for a victory.
"The track became very hard packed, blue-grooved,
and slick. My DS was set up perfectly for the
conditions and the ATV really shined on this track.
I was fortunate enough to win all four of my motos.
I could not have done this without the great support
from Can-AM and all of my other sponsors, I cant
thank them enough, " said Miller.
