Shelbyville, TN (3/7/2014) - The racing season is just a few days away and if you have not heard the news Team UXC Racing in Shelbyville Tennessee has stepped up the game for any takers to their challenge. As the new Factory backed Polaris team in the GNCC racing series Team UXC is very excited to get the season rolling on the Scrambler 850XP after a brief “Teeeennnn Seconds”!

Starting the Grand National Cross Country series off in Florida Michael Swift and his trusty Polaris Scrambler 850XP will take on every challenger in the newly formed Pro 4X4 class. Swift has been in the sunshine state for the week prior to the race preparing his final touches to the machine. This is a chance for the Shelbyville Tennessean to add to his very successful history in the utility ranks. Swift says his new machine is fast, stable, dependable and ready to get to the business at hand. Michael and his wife Shanna will be piloting their Polaris RZR 900XP in the UTV races in the GNCC series as well. “We have only had a few months to really get our seat warm on the Scrambler after one cold and frozen winter here in middle Tennessee but the work we have accomplished is simply amazing and it will not come soon enough that I get that green flag!” stated Swift.
Swift will not be the only Team UXC Racer to challenge all takers on a Polaris Scrambler though as the west coast team is already in full swing headed up by the Casper Wyoming shop of Driven Powersports and Don Higbee aboard the very new Scrambler 1000! Don will be racing the BITD in expert class as well as the Score International series in select events. Don is now an experienced GNCC racer but has many great races under his belt in the deserts of the west coast and will concentrate his efforts there.
Chris Robinson has also came into the Team UXC fold and recorded his first win just last weekend in the TORN series that runs through the Texas landscape. Chris has set his Polaris Scrambler 1000 into motion and with his experience and enthusiasm will add yet another bright spot to the team.
Lets not forget Tayton Swift, Michael’s son and heir to the throne as he will be burning up the woods as well representing the Team UXC racing banner. This young man has a heart of gold and a smile for everyone. Tayton will be racing in the 90cc 8-12 year old class aboard his Apex 90.
