                                Shelbyville, TN (3/22/2012) -
Team UXC Racing’s Cliff Beasley started
his season off with a pair of wins in the U2
class, at rounds one and two of the 2012 GNCC
series, while Michael Swift showed the potential
the new 2012 Can-Am Outlander has in the 4x4
                                  Open class.

The first two rounds of the season have been
good for UXC Racing’s Cliff Beasley as
he defends his championship title in the U2
class. Beasley smoked the competition at River
Ranch, FL at round one, taking the U2 class
win by over nine minutes and claiming the number
three spot on the morning podium. “It
felt real good to get that first win. The new
2012 Can-Am Renegade is working well and I hope
                                  to continue winning,” said Beasley.

Just one week later at “The General”
in Washington, GA, Beasley took another class
win and rounded out the top five overall in
the morning classes. With his back to back wins,
Beasley has the points lead, but with it still
being early in the season, the number 203 racer
                                  remains cautious. “I’m just going
to go out there and do what I did last season
and take it one race at a time. We have a good
program and we have great sponsors supporting
us this season so I am going to give it everything
I have, every round, and hope for the best,”
                                  said Beasley.
Michael Swift has been working on getting his
new 2012 Outlander dialed in for this season
and it has showed with great starts and fast
lap times at both rounds. At round one, Swift
was leading in the 4x4 Open class, and also
had the overall lead in the morning classes.
He was looking solid and held that lead for
most of the race, but a mechanical issue took
him out of the lead in the final lap, giving
him a third place finish in his class.

At round two, Swift again took the lead and
was battling it out with the competition, but
unfortunately, a mechanical issue caused him
to end his day early. Being a true competitor,
the minor setbacks have not deterred the five
time champion in any way. “It’s
unfortunate that I had some bad luck in the
first couple of rounds, but I will always go
out there and give it 100%,” said Swift
who is currently second in points.
Round number three of the 2012 GNCC series
will be heading to Steel Creek in Morganton,
NC on March 31st, where the UXC Racing team
will be going for their class wins and the podium.
