Shelbyville, TN (3/5/2011) - With the 2011 GNCC season quickly approaching, the newly formed UXC Racing team, featuring five-time 4x4 Limited champion, Michael Swift and current U2 class champion, Cliff Beasley, is ready to take on all challengers as they get ready to do battle in the sandy soils of Florida as the series kicks off in just a couple of weeks.

While both Swift and Beasley raced under the Can-Am/Warnert team for the past few years, this year they will be a part of Can-Am's X-Team, and despite some big changes, they are not only optimistic about their new team, but also very eager to get out there and race. “We have been working really hard over the break testing and training and even with the changes, I think this is going to be a great season for us,” stated Michael Swift, who will be making a huge change to his program by racing in the 4x4 Open class.

“I've been racing in the Limited class, which is mainly a stock class, for several years, so this is going to be a big change for me. I think it's going to be a lot more challenging, but I also think there's going to be some really interesting racing going on,” said Swift.

Cliff Beasley will be returning to the U2 class for 2011 after a racing perfect season in 2010 and claiming the championship. “We have been working so hard getting everything ready that it doesn't even feel like we had much of a break but I think it's all going to be worth it. Michael and I have been out racing and riding a lot and pushing each other so I think we are ready and I can't wait to get out there and start racing again. I want to pick up where I left off last season,” said Beasley.

For the 2011 season the team will be working with many of their loyal sponsors, but they have also added several new ones. “We're still working with Can-Am of course, but we've gone back with Maxxis Tires for 2011,” said Swift.

“We are also working with Paragon ATV and High-Tech, which are new for us this year, but have really helped us out,” added Beasley.

In addition to their new program, Team UXC Racing also has a new website designed by Santor Design Co. On www.teamuxcracing.com you can find links to all of the team sponsors, news, and will be updated regularly with photos, race reports and videos as the season progresses.
