In the AMA Supercross series, Ryan Dungey
is taking his fuel-injected
RM-Z450 to the top. Dungey currently owns
the Supercross series points with
a solid lead that will be tough for competitors
on other bikes to overcome.
Dungey has scored four wins thanks to his
powerful RM-Z450, captured many
holeshots, and has led a ton of laps. As proved
by Dungey on the track, the
RM-Z makes great power and it pulls in really
key areas to keep him ahead of
the pack. In the Eastern Regional Lites Class,
Austin Stroupe and his all-new, fuel-injected
RM-Z250 have been at the front of the pack
all season. Stroupe has a firm grasp on the
second spot in overall points in the class.
The RM-Z450 is a great bike no matter what
the conditions. To prove that, Josh Strang
has been dominating the GNCC pro class with
his trail blazing RM-Z. Strang is currently
leading the series, and has gone three for
three so far thanks to his race-ready RM-Z450.
Also making its mark in the GNCC class, the
all-new RMX450Z is in the lead. Rodney Smith
has won once so far this year, been on the
podium twice, and is currently the points
leader in the Sportsman A class.
Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 is once again in
the lead of the AMA American Superbike
Series. With an impressive double win in Daytona
Beach, Fla., Michael Jordan
Motorsports™ Jake Zemke put himself
atop the points board in the first round
of racing with his Suzuki GSX-R1000. The second
race of Round 2 in Fontana,
Calif., saw Tommy Hayden take his championship-winning
GSX-R1000 to the top
of the podium, and eight of the top-10 riders
in the class were aboard a GSX-R as well.
Zemke is currently leading the class in points,
and Hayden is right behind him in second.
Suzuki has dominated the Superbike series
for the last 7 years, and the quick and responsive
GSX-R1000 is doing well on the track in 2010.
Also on track to a great season, the GSX-R600
is making a strong showing in
the AMA Daytona SportBike class. Danny Eslick
won the pole position at the
legendary Daytona 200 with the bike, and has
had strong showings so far this
season. He finished second in Fontana to another
GSX-R600, which was piloted
by Martin Cardenas. Eslick is currently second
in overall points for the season, and both
he and Cardenas are poised to have a solid
2010 in the AMA
Daytona SportBike class.
Suzuki is just as good on four wheels as
it is on two. The ATV MX season
opener in Alabama showed why back-to-back
champion Dustin Wimmer and his
QuadRacer R450 have won more ATV MX races
than anyone in recent history.
Wimmer is leading the points chase, and he
is looking to put in many great performances
in 2010. Also aboard the QuadRacer R450 is
2009 GNCC champion Chris Borich. Borich has
two wins in the GNCC series so far this season,
and he shows no sign of slowing down with
his powerfully fast machine.
The best part of Suzuki taking an early hold
on all these different racing disciplines
is that it helps in developing the perfect
bike for everyone. The GSX-R1000 and GSX-R600,
the RM-Z450 and RM-Z250, the RMX450Z, and
the QuadRacer R450 are spectacular, and they’re
available right now at your local Suzuki dealership.
The same bikes that are winning championships
could be in your garage!
