Brea, CA (7/26/2010) - Suzuki
Motor Corporation is celebrating 50 years
of international racing this year, and to
commemorate this milestone American Suzuki
Motor Corp. is printing five collectable cloth
stickers, one for each racing discipline of
Superbike, ATV, Off-Road and Motocross plus
a special gold anniversary sticker.
The celebration kicks off this weekend with
the release of a limited number of special
gold commemorative 50th Anniversary stickers.
These special stickers will be handed out
at the Suzuki display at Laguna Seca Superbike
event and at the Washougal Motocross pits.
This special gold sticker will continue to
be distributed at select events throughout
the summer.
The next release will be a limited-edition
Road Racing sticker honoring Suzuki's long
list of American champion riders and motorcycles.
This sticker will be distributed at the VIR
round of AMA Superbike Series in Alton, Va.
in mid-August.
Also in August, Suzuki will release a commemorative
sticker that honors Suzuki's successful ATV
racing history. The sticker will be distributed
at the final round of the AMA Pro ATV MX series
at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills,
Tenn.
Motocross Racing is highlighted with the
September release of the fourth limited-edition
sticker. Suzuki has a long and storied history
of winning races with their revolutionary
stable of dirt bikes. This limited-edition
sticker will be available at the Pala Raceway
for the final round of the 2010 Lucas Oil
Outdoor MX Series.
October honors off-road racing at its finest,
with the tough and wooded racecourses that
really put machines to the test. Suzuki has
done well in the woods with both their dirt
bikes and ATVs. Look for this release at the
final Ironman round of the 2010 GNCC series.
Suzuki has had an incredible history of racing
