2010 AMA ATV Motocross Nationals
- Round 9 - Unadilla - New Berlin, NY

- Team Southside Polaris made the trip to Unadilla
for round 9 of the 2010 AMA Nationals. Bobby Ross
who hadn’t been at a national since Kentucky,
was out to show everyone that even though he was
up in the northeast, he still had what it takes
to run with them.
After the storms down South interfered with his
flights, he wouldn’t get to Unadilla till
almost 8am Saturday morning, so he decided to
skip Pro-Am Unlimited and rest up for the Production
practice later in the day, but then when rain
moved in we decided to hold off and wait till
Sunday to get on the track.

MX National & would claim 6th place
overall in the Pro-Am Prod Class

Sunday morning rolled around and AMA gave them some extra time because of a few
of the Pro-Am riders had gone out for practice Saturday
afternoon because of the rain. Bobby would set the
3rd fastest lap early on but he still wasn’t
in his groove, and would end up with the 11th fastest
time. When the first moto rolled around, Bobby would
get out in the 7th spot and quickly make his way
into 6th and then started working on Moore, but
he just couldn’t find a way to get around
him and he would settle for 6th.
In moto 2, he would get out 5th and was in the
battle with Moore & Haagsma but about 3 laps
into the moto he noticed that the nut had backed
off the swingarm bolt and the bolt was sliding
out, so he did what he could to hold a pace, but
a couple laps later Snapp would get by, but he
would be able to hold off Brenton and the field
to place 6th in moto 2, and finish 6th overall,
so all in all a pretty solid weekend.
