Bobby Ross & Neal McGrath
Join Team Southside MX Team
NEATV-MX Series & AMA
ATV Motocross Nationals
North Adams, MA (3/19/2010)
- Bobby Ross, based out of Franklin, PA will lead
the rebellion for Team Southside at the AMA Nationals
in the Pro-Am division. Last season Bobby had
a great season finishing 2nd overall with multiple
podiums and now for this season will be making
the switch to Polaris and is posed to make a run
for both championships. He has been putting a
lot of time in down south this off season to get
in the best shape possible for Pell City next
weekend. He will also run his share of NEATV-MX
regional’s on off weekends in both the Pro
& Pro-Am divisions.
Florida native Neal McGrath will be making move
North for the season as he will based out of Southside’s
shop in North Adams, Massachusetts. Neal coming
of a fantastic season on the AMA Nationals series
winning an Overall championship in the “A”
division with multiple wins and podiums in only
his first full season on a 450 in the AMA Series.
He won’t have an easy task ahead of him
running the Pro & Pro-Am divisions in NEATV-MX
with the likes of Haavisto, Morello, Miller, &
Pilotte but we feel that he is the guy that can
get the job done. He is one of the hottest young
superstars in the sport at age 17 and will look
to add to his trophy count this season.
Returning to the team this season, even after
a mid-season injury, came back strong to win the
2009 NEATV Open C champion Paige Whipple against
all the boys. She was the first girl to win a
boys class on the series, and one of very few
to win an mx championship on an Outlaw in 09’.
During her stellar season she racked up an overall
win and 7 overall podiums. This coming season
she will be once again running the Women’s
Open class and then also with the championship
last season she will be moving up to the Production
B class.
Also returning to the team for this season is
Bruce Gaspardi Jr & Andrew Ruel who both had
strong 09’ seasons with Bruce winning 2
overalls in Open B and had multiple top 5s. He
raced SnoCross all winter and feels that it’s
the best cross training out there for quads. His
final race of the season where he looks to add
another podium to his count is in Finley Lake
NY which is on the same weekend as Pell City.
Andrew also had a great season with multiple podiums
and has been doing a fair share of riding at an
indoor track in Connecticut. Bruce will be returning
to NEATV to run the “B” Classes along
with Collegeboy. Andrew will be running the AMA
Nationals in the “B” division and
doing some NEATV on off weekends.
