Team Southside & NEATV Families Mourn the Loss of Mark Ruel

Mark was a great man & a great friend; he would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He was a great mechanic who could fix anything that needed fixing. He would also be the first one to congratulate anyone on the team after there moto. He was a proud father of his son Andrew a racer who is in his 2nd season on the team and has been running the first few rounds of the AMA National tour & planned to run the entire series, you could always see him cheering on Andrew from the sidelines or standing with him at the starting gate. His daughter Jessica who will be graduating high school this spring with top notch marks & attending St. Lawrence University in the fall, and his wife Sherrie who was always at the races cooking & supporting the riders. Mark was taken unexpectedly & far too soon. He will be greatly missed by his family, his many friends, & the whole atv racing community.

Team Southside’s riders Andrew Ruel, Bobby Ross, Neal McGrath, Bruce Gaspardi Jr, & Paige Whipple along with riders around the globe such as UK’s Paul Holmes, Germany’s Stefan Schreiber, Joe Byrd & Aaron Meyer will be running Mark Ruel remembrance stickers on their quads for the remainder of the season. The stickers will be for sale at the NEATV-MX & Southside Trailers at the NEATV-MX events & with Aaron Meyer at the AMA ATV MX Nationals. All Proceeds will go to the Ruel Family to help them with this tough time.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7pm at Rickers Funeral Home, 56 School Street, Lebanon NH 03766. Phone # (603)-632-7639. The funeral will be at Thursday at 11am at St . Helena’s Church, 36 Shaker Hill Road, Enfield NH 03748. There will be a gathering afterwards at Sherry's house - 844 New Hampshire Route 4A, Enfield, NH afterwards. All are welcome - please bring a food dish or dessert.
