Milan, Italy (10/13/2011) SOLO
is a completely automatic lap timer based on GPS
technology. It means no more transmitters placed
on the finish line, no more interferences among
different transmitters. So, when drivers go to the
track with SOLO, they can start racing immediately.
Lap times
will be automatically recorded as SOLO - including
a list of the main tracks of the world –
stores the coordinates of their start/finish points.
Its GPS and integrated accelerometer will also
record instant racing speed, braking, route, accelerations…
New tracks can be easily added to the list, by
keyboard or by dedicated software.
Racing will be just fun: no time waste, complicated
sensors connections or expensive wirings, nor
track engineers.
SOLO can be configured according to the kind
of circuit - closed or open - and of race (speed,
regularity or acceleration races).
SOLO provides a lot of information useful for
the pro as well as the amateur track driver, both
on the display and in after analysis, like:
- Speed and position
- Laps comparison
- Predictive laptime
- Total and partial odometer
- GG force
- Segment analysis
- Acceleration values
And if more data are needed, SOLO DL is the solution:
a full mini datalogger which can be connected
to the ECU (via CAN, RS232 and OBD-kLine) to visualiza
and record data coming from the engine, in addition
to all the parameters received by GPS.
SOLO DL can be expanded connecting a 4 channel
expansion to obtain a full, professional datalogger.
