2014 Rally on the Rocks Teams Up with Tread Lightly
Rally on the Rocks & Tread Lightly to Promote Safe Outdoor Recreation

Moab, UT (2/10/2014) - Discount Tire, the worlds largest tire and wheel retailer and Rally on the Rocks is teaming up with Tread Lightly! In an effort to promote and maintain safe outdoor recreation and to help keep public lands open for all outdoor enthusiasts.

Tread Lightly! will be working with the BLM, Discount Tire, and the Rally on the Rocks organization on priority trail maintenance on trails in Moab that are in danger of closing due to high traffic and misuse.

Through a great show of leadership, the Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks organization is stepping forward to co-ordinate volunteers for a "trail day" during the 2014 event. This trail day will continue the restoration efforts by asking participants to donate some of their time and labor to the cause.
