Las Vegas, NV (3/6/2012) - Quad75Dezert once again is in the desert of Mexico, preparing for the 44th Annual San Felipe 250. This year's race is 248.64 miles and has an 11 hour time-limit to complete. Motorcycles begin leaving the line at 6:00am Saturday March 10th, in 30-second intervals. Trucks begin leaving the line 4 hours after the last motorcycle has left.

This year's course has some never-before-used sections as the track will go through 3 new washes. This will add a little to the typical challenges of Baja, and participants riding those sections will need to take extra care during pre-running to make notes and learn the terrain. For Quad75Dezert, most of these sections will be taken on by rider Jorie Williams, who says, "The new sections are fun, but there's not a lot of room for creativity."

For this year's 250, Quad75Dezert riders (Rider of Record Brandon Brown, mechanic Kenny Sanford, and riders Jorie Williams and Jamie Kirkpatrick) will be competing against some heavy hitters of the ATV world. Racing class 25 this year (#8a for this race), Quad75Dezert will be leaving 7th off the line. The returning Class 25 champions, as well as veteran Baja racers Mike Cafro, Craig Christy, Greg Row and their respective teams will also be competing in Class 25. Additionally to the several other Mexican teams racing, Josh Frederick, another former Baja champion, has come out to race this event, also in Class 25.

"We take competition seriously, but we're concerned with what our program entails, not necessarily what other people are doing," Brandon says, "We know what we need to do, and we prepare for months for these races, so we just have to stick to our plan and see what happens. Our team rides their hearts out each time they get on the quad. I'm optimistic."

This year again the team had planned for a second team to race with them as they had done in 2011, however team 2 had to drop out at the last minute. Team 2 will be reorganized and try to make the 500.
