Precision’s
Racing's GNCC XC1 Pro Adam McGill was
recently injured while cross training
on his dirt bike |
West Union, WV (6/18/2012)
- Precision Racing’s Adam McGill is recovering
well after a nasty crash less than two weeks ago
that left him with multiple injuries and uncertainty
surrounding his 2012 GNCC season.
McGill was getting in some cross training aboard
his dirt bike at the MOVHS Hare Scrambles when
he went down. McGill suffered a broken rib,
a bruised lung and fractured his right shoulder
blade in several places. Luckily, McGill’s
rigorous training schedule has him in excellent
shape and he is now on his way to a very speedy
recovery.
“I thought I was going to be out a lot
longer, but I haven’t been in too much
pain and the doctor says I am healing well.
If I’m feeling up to it, I think I’m
going to be at Snowshoe,” said McGill.
Once word of his crash spread; McGill received
an outpouring of support from his many friends,
fans, and sponsors. “I have to thank everyone
for their support. My phone has been blowing
up with texts and calls from so many people
that just want to make sure I’m okay and
show their support. It really means a lot to
me and I am hoping to be back out there soon,”
said McGill.
McGill has been under the care of World Wide
Chiropractics and Sports Medicine and has been
doing very well in his recovery efforts. “I
really have to thank everyone and give a big
shout out to everyone at World Wide Chiropractic
and Sports Medicine because they have been giving
me such excellent care and helping me get healed
up so quickly. I thought I would be out a lot
longer, but if all goes well, I will be back
at Snowshoe to try and salvage points,”
said McGill.
