Minneapolis, MN (10/25/2011) - William
Yokley and his National Guard Polaris DragonFire
Yokley Racing RANGER RZR XP 900 took the GNCC
“Open Modified” UTV Championship
for third consecutive year. RANGER RZRs proved
to be a dominant force in the class with Team
Hendershot finishing second with their RANGER
RZR XP 900 and Yokley’s teammate, Scott
Kiger ending the year in third place.
“We would like to congratulate William
and Scott on an awesome GNCC
side-by-side racing season,” said Donna
Beadle, race team manager for
Polaris Racing. “Both have worked very
hard this season preparing a
brand-new unit and the outcome is well-deserved.”
The last UTV race of the season, The Ironman,
saw three RANGER RZRs, once
again, on the podium for the “Open Modified”
class. Team Hendershot would
take the checkered flag with Yokley in second
and Kiger in third.
Yokley and Kiger will race the season finale
of the WORCS on Nov. 12, at
Speed World MX in Surprise, Arizona. Yokley
is leading the points and with
a good finish, can wrap up the WORCS National
Championship. Kiger is in
the top seven in points, and has a chance
to move up in the final standings.
