Australia (2/12/2010)
- Australia’s first professional
ATV Racing Team, Polaris Racing, will be back
in 2010, again under the leadership of ’09
Finke Champion, Luke Beechey.
Heading up the mighty Polaris race effort
is multiple ATV Motocross state champ and
leading ATV parts and race prep shop owner
Luke Beechey. Beechey has vast experience,
competing since an early age both here in
Australia and several seasons on the, grueling
USA AMA ATV Motocross Racing circuit.
Joining Beechey will be young Queensland
rider Ryan Noyes; Ryan took outright honors
during the 2009 Tri State series in both the
clubman class and the hotly contested production
class in his fi rst year of ATV racing. Ryan’s
father Carl will be heavily involved on a
day to day basis helping prep and manage race
day proceedings.
“We are delighted to support Luke and
his team once more; he exudes professionalism
and always gives 100%. We’re looking
forward to seeing more Polaris Outlaws on
Podiums again in 2010” says Nick Kitchen
– Polaris National Sales Manager.
Polaris Racing, Luke Beechey Motorsports
and MotoX Nutrition have combined to offer
more racers the chance to pilot Polaris Outlaws.
Guns for hire - Michael Roycroft and Rob Booth
will contest all Tri State events along with
home State MX championships, the Finke desert
race and the Australian ATV MX Nationals,
this year held in WA.
Mike had this to say, “MXN is excited
to be hooked up with Polaris and Luke Beechey
Motorsports, both Luke and I have been talking
about this for a while. And I can’t
wait to sink my teeth into the bike and get
some hours under my belt. I know with the
experience Luke has had with the Polaris bikes
over the years, he will surely be giving us
the best head start we could possible have
considering we only have 6 weeks until our
first race. MXN Polaris Racing will be run
under a separate team banner than Luke Beechey
Motorsports Polaris team but both teams will
be pitting/ training and utilizing most of
their sponsors.”
“I really think we have one of the
most experienced and diverse bunch of riders
and mechanics a team could ask for, with both
Rob and I able to race anything from Speedway,
Dirt track, Motocross and Enduro and with
Luke Beechey the best all-round rider we have
here in Australia, myself and the entire team
look forward to many podiums during season
2010” Roycroft added.
Again Victor Bonacci will return for all
mechanical duties on race day and will once
again contest all the offroad events such
as Finke and Thumb Pump, Thomas Andrushak
from HST Powersports will once again be at
all the races preparing and swinging spanners
for both teams. For Polaris Racing Updates
