- Pierce Arrow, manufacturer of
winches and recovery equipment, unveils a winch
specially designed for UTVs.
Pierce Arrow president, Jeff Pierce mounted his
PS4000 on a new Kubota RTV
500.
“The PS4000 is the perfect size for any
off-road utility vehicle,” says Pierce.
“I am impressed with the line speed. It
took me one try to pull out my Scag that I stuck
in the front yard. It didn’t even strain.”
The Pierce PS4000 weights 55 lbs. and offers
a 19.8 fpm. Winch with 1.5 hp and 40 feet of
1/4’ cable. Under a full load the PS4000
draws 310 amps. The winch includes wire rope,
handle bar switch, single compact solenoid,
hook, roller guide and mounting plate.
