Millican Top Ten at Sunset RidgeMunford, TN (5/25/2012) - Dalton
Millican raced his Nitro Fish ATV this past weekend
in Walnut, Illinois at the always tough, rough and
                              fast Sunset Ridge Motocross.AMA
ATV MX Championship - Round 4 - Sunset Ridge
                                  - May 19 , 2012
Millican began the weekend with a holeshot in Moto 1 of Pro Am Unlimited and
finished in 4th place. In Moto 2 he found himself
tangled up with some other riders in the first
turn, which caused him to fall back in the pack.
While trying to make up some lost ground Millican
crashed, ending his hopes for a good finish. Millican
had an overall 16th place finish for the weekend
in the Pro Am Unlimited Class. Sunday morning timed qualifying got underway
for the Pro Am Production Class with Millican
securing the 8th qualifying position. He took
his 8th spot and used it to his advantage to be
first out of the gate getting the holeshot. Millican
battled the entire Moto near the front of the
field holding on for a 5th place finish. Moto 2 of the Pro Am Production class did not
go nearly as well for Millican. This Moto saw
the effects of the earlier crash in the Pro Am
Unlimited class cost him any chance of a good
finish. Millican began having handling problems
from a broken steering dampener, which slowed
him to a 13th place finish. Millican was still
able to salvage a 9th place overall for the weekend. At the end of the event Millican was realistic
in his review of the weekend’s activities,
“This was a wild weekend for sure. I crashed
the bike twice and that certainly kept the Nitro
Fish Team busy with all kinds of repairs. I don’t
know what I would have done without the help of
Keith Little. Keith was changing A-Arms, spindles
brakes you name, it he did it. I am glad we were
able to salvage a Top Ten finish out of this”,
Millican said. Millican expressed his gratitude to those individuals
and companies that are supporting his quest in
the Pro Am Class of the ATV MX National Championship

our program this year and I want to express my
