Parts Plus' Dalton Millican Takes Second Overall at Sunday Creek
AMA Pro ATV Motocross Championships – Round 8 – Sunday Creek – July 2, 2011

Oakland, KY (7/6/2011) - Dalton Millican raced his Parts Plus Honda this past weekend at Sunday Creek Motocross in Millfield, Ohio. This was a new stop on the AMA ATV National MX Series. It is a beautiful facility that was built by motocross legend Jeff Cernic.

Millican began Saturday with a holeshot in the first moto of the Production A class. Millican found himself in a very heated battle with Tyler Hamrick. Millican held the lead until the last lap where Hamrick edge past taking the moto one win.
In moto two Millican was first out of the gate again with Hamrick close behind in second. The race stayed this way till Millican got hung going over a jump and stalled the bike giving the lead to Hamrick. Once Millican got the bike started he had to race his way back to forth. This gave Millican a third overall for the weekend in the Production A class.

In moto one of the 450A class Millican had the lead from the start and held off Tyler Hamrick to take the moto one win. Moto two began like all the other races this weekend with Millican out front from the start. Millican held the lead until the last two laps when Hamrick moved past him to take the moto win and the overall for the weekend. Millican came away with second overall in the 450A class.
