Parts Plus' Dalton Millican
Wins Final Round of ATV Arena Cross Tour
Dalton Millican Wins Hometown
ATV Arena Cross Race
Washington, GA (3/7/2011) -
The final round of the 2011 Arena Cross tour was
held Saturday night at the Shelby Showplace Arena.
Dalton Millican made his hometown race a good
one. Millican riding his Parts Plus, Lucas Oil
machine in front of a packed house put on a show.
In the first heat race Millican pulled the holeshot
and lead until the final lap sliding wide and
falling back to second.
In the main event Millican was not to be denied.
When the gate dropped Millican used all his Maximum
Cycle horsepower and again had the holeshot. With
4 laps to go the hard charging Casey Martin caught
Millican. The two riders collided in a turn causing
Martin to stall allowing Millican clear sailing
to the finish.
“This was a big night for me racing for
the first time with Parts Plus as the new sponsor
of our MPE Motorsports Team. Parts Plus and my
Dad had a press conference yesterday making the
announcement. So to be able to go out and win
the Pro Main event in front of this big home town
crowd was awesome” Millican said.
Dalton would like
to thank the following sponsors:

Oil, Jeff Maxey of Maximum Cycle, Mike and Nate
