Continuing Education
Units Now Available for OHV Land Advocacy Webinar
Series
Washington, D.C. (11/6/2009)
-Registration is Available for the Fall Sessions
The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation
Council (NOHVCC) has partnered with the Marshall
Community & Technical College (MCTC), a Marshall
University affiliate. This partnership will allow
us to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU)
for the OHV Land Advocacy webinar series.
MCTC's CEU program requires 10 contact hours
for each CEU. The full series meets the requirements
for 1 CEU. To make things easy for you, MCTC has
packaged the full session and will process the
certification for the package of all 4 sessions
for an administrative fee of only $10.00 If you
need the CEU prior to the completion of all sessions,
you may apply for the partial CEU for each session
attended. The MCTC administration fee for each
session is $5.00.
To sign up for the CEUs, go to the MCTC
website and add the NOHVCC sessions into your
cart. MCTC will process the application and send
you the appropriate certificates for the sessions.
While you are at it, check out the other CEU
courses offered by MCTC If you have not already
completed one or more of the 4 separate modules
in the series, you may sign up for the fall dates
on our webinar
page. The modules and the dates are listed
below. There is no cost to attend the webinar
session because the funding for the creation of
the webinars was provided by the Motorcycle Industry
Council, the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America,
and the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association;
and the funding for the distribution of the webinars
was provided by the Yamaha OHV Access Initiative.
