NEATV-MX ATV Racing Series Kicks Off This Weekend at Walden MX
New England ATV Motocross Racing Series - Round 1 - Wallkill, NY - May 1, 2011

Shelton, CT (4/27/2011) - It’s almost that time of the year, and anticipation has been high, but the 2011 season of the Maxxis New England ATV Motocross Series will soon kick off on April 30th – May 1st in Wallkill, NY, where this year promises to be one of the most exciting and competitive seasons to date.

The competition will be intense in the Pro class as Can-Am/BCS Performance’s Cody Miller will be returning to the series to defend his Pro and Pro-am championship titles, but he will have to work hard as Southside Polaris Team added Mike Pilotte, Jasmin Plante, and Kody Evans for 2012 as well to the pro line-up

The Maxxis New England ATV Motocross Series has been the starting point for several national level pro champions over the years, including former two-time national champ Dustin Wimmer, as well as 2010 national champ, Josh Creamer, who will both be returning to the series full time for the 2011 season and have every intension of making things tough for Miller and Pilotte and will shake things up as they make a run for the Pro championship.

As always the Maxxis New England ATV Motocross Series offers up some of the best amateur racing in the country and this family friendly series has an incredible selection of classes, 26 to be exact, so there is always a place for everyone, from youth racers and beginners, to up and coming future pro champions.

The pro class offers a 100% payback and there are big contingencies for the amateur classes from Can-Am, Maxxis, Polaris and KTM to name a few. You do not have to be a member of the NEATV-MX to attend this event and all district cards will be honored.

Walden MX will be the hosting facility for round one of the 2011 season that is scheduled for April 30th – May1st. The gates will open Friday night for those wanting to get there early. Open practice starts at 10am Saturday morning and racing will begin at 9am on Sunday.
