Racing's Jeffrey Rastrelli may not have
won the Pro-Am Production championship
but he sure put on a great performance
at Lorettas to take the moto win |
Reynoldsburg, OH (8/29/2010) -
Mushin Racing’s Jeffrey Rastrelli ended
the 2010 on top with a Pro-am Production win but
Mushin satellite racer, Chase Snapp, would claim
the Pro-am Production championship, while Kodi
Ward would take to the podium in the 90 Auto Jr.
class.
The weather certainly came into play for the
weekend’s events with incredibly hot and
humid temps and some strong thunder storms that
would wreak havoc on track conditions, causing
delays and format changes for the final round
of the 2010 AMA ATV motocross Championships
at Loretta Lynn’s.

Despite the tough conditions and a one moto, winner-take-all format, Jeffrey
Rastrelli gave an astounding performance as
he took an early lead in lap one and held it
all the way to the checkered flag, for the overall
Pro-am Production win.
“It was tough, but I just stayed focused
and gave it my all. I have to thank Mushin Racing
for all of their support this year. They are
the reason I am on the podium,” said Rastrelli,
who would take third in the Pro-am points championship.

Scott Ward celebrate after the championship
is wrapped up by Snapp at Loretta Lynn's |
Chase Snapp, who has been a front runner all season and in a tight battle for
the points championship with Joel Hetrick, came
out victorious at the final round. Despite only
taking a fifth place finish for the day, Snapp’s
efforts were enough to give him his first ever
Pro-am Production Championship. “This has
been a great season for me. It was a tough fight
between me and Hetrick, but I gave it everything
I had and I am really excited to win the championship,”
said Snapp.
In the Pro Production ranks, Thomas Brown ended
his season with a top five overall finish after
a heated battle with Jeremy Lawson and Josh
Upperman. Brown’s consistency all season
also gave him a sixth place finish in the Pro
points race.

Cody Gibson’s rookie Pro season went well, despite an injury that had him
missing a couple of rounds. Gibson would end his
season within the top twenty in the Pro points
race.
Although the weather took its toll on many
of the amateur classes, 50 Limited class racer,
Ashton Ward, never gave up and claimed a tenth
place finish overall, but Ward’s solid
efforts and enthusiasm all season long, had
him finishing second in his class in the points
championship.
