Pro-Am
Production Racer Chase Snapp went 2-1
after a couple hard faught battles with
Hetrick to take the overall win while
in Pro-Am Unlimited he went 1-2 &
now only sits 7 pts behind 1st place |
Reynoldsburg, OH (6/24/2010) -
Oklahoma based and Mushin Racing's Pro/Am prodigy,
Chase Snapp continues to reign supreme in the
Pro/Am Production class at this year's AMA-ATV
Motocross Championship. Challenged by on track
rival Joel Hetrick of Team 2K10 during Round 7
of this year's series held at Muddy Creek MX in
Blountville, TN on June 20th, Snapp relinquished
a sizeable lead in moto 1, allowing Hetrick to
take the victory.
But, in moto two, with a heart full of determination
and an iron clad mindset to not let it happen
again, Snapp held off Hetrick in the second
moto. His 2-1 moto scores gave him the overall
win and clinched his continued dominance of
the class. Snapp led the overall standings going
into the event and came out of the round still
holding a firm grip on the top standing's spot
in the class. His point spread separating himself
and Hetrick after 7 of the 11 round series tallied
in at 23 markers to the good.
In the Pro/Am Unlimited class, Snapp captured
Mushin Racing a second place overall finish
with 1-2 moto scores which secured his second
place position in the overall standings, just
7 points out of first.
Harper
and Stockton Create Mushin Racing Consistency
|
In it's inaugural year as a full blown team,
Mushin Racing continues to press forward toward
success utilizing consistency in it's race program.
Two young racers on the team, Hunter Harper
and Tanner Stockton have implemented consistent
strategies in their racing efforts to maintain
a constant level of competition at each and
every round of this season's AMA-ATV Motocross
Championships.
|
Mushin
Racing's Tanner Stockton |
Stockton, hailing from Jamestown, Tennessee,
competes in the 90 Automatic Senior (12-15)
class and, barring some "I'd like to forget
that round" finishes, Stockton has been
on the podium three times. He currently, after
Round 7 at Muddy Creek MX, sits in 5th place
in the overall series' standings in the class.
In the 90 CVT (8-15) class Stockton continues
to improve on his consistency and, although
he's not seen the results in this class as in
the Auto class, he holds down the 10th place
overall position, just one point shy of being
in a tie for 8th with two other racers.

Mushin
Racing's Hunter Harper |
Mushin Racing's man for the Supermini (13-15) class hangs his helmet in Marshall,
Texas when he's not on the track. Hunter Harper's
his name and consistent competitiveness is his
game. Harper, after 7 of the 11 round 2010 AMA-ATV
Motocross Championships, finds his efforts in
the Supermini class paying off. He holds a firm
grip on the 3rd overall spot in the class standings
and is climbing in the rankings. In the Schoolboy
Senior (14-17) class Harper has experienced all
the mulligan's he wants and after a solid 4th
place finish at the Muddy Creek round laid claim
to 6th place in the overall class standings for
the series.
